About me

After finishing high school in Istanbul, I moved to Vienna to study. During my studies in Vienna I received my first award – 1st place – and was allowed to represent Austria at a fashion show.

But success did not mean it was the right path. For me, what matters most is being able to create freely – to unfold without worrying whether something is feasible. Fashion design was not what fulfilled my soul.

After a deep setback in my life that took away my strength – I even had difficulty walking – I decided to do only what is good for my soul. What brings me joy – namely painting.

Back then I met an Italian artist who created abstract artworks. I asked her for a workshop where I could learn the materials and the process. Since then I haven't been able to stop painting.

For me it is very important that there are no rules to follow while you hold the brush to the canvas.

My message is: “Through art I have seen that every woman carries a bud within her that is ready to blossom. She only has to follow her passion. It is not about doing what society expects of you, but doing what fulfils your heart.”
